Calvary Baptist Church in Reedsville, WV was founded in 1976 and struggled in its early days. The church had two pastors in the first three years of existence. That changed when they called Pastor Terry Hagedorn in July of 1979 to come and serve as permanent pastor of the church. The church has blossomed spiritually under the leadership of Pastor Hagedorn, to the glory of God, and in many ways has found its identity under his teaching and preaching. It is our desire as a body to be the “city that is set on a hill”, and to proclaim the simple life-changing truth of God’s Word and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are blessed with a congregation who love God, and seek to do His will in their life.
